The overarching aim of EUnetHTA JA3 is to facilitate the use of HTA reports, and improve the quality and efficiency of their production on European level. The HTA joint actions were needed to make a contribution for evidence-based, sustainable and equitable decisions in health care and health technologies, and to enhance the production of national and regional HTA reports and other related activites, while also preventing parallel workflows. In order to achieve all of the above, the specific goal of EUnetHTA is to create the sustainable network of health technology assessment, which can operate beyond the completion of the current joint action in 2021.
